Cohen, known in the creative world as Fire Mist, is the multifaceted talent behind GYPSYPOP, distinguished for his expertise in directing, producing, and composing. His exceptional skills drive the brand's creativity. A virtuoso classically trained guitarist with rock 'n roll roots, Fire Mist thrives in music production and film score. With a remarkable 21 original musical releases, Fire Mist is prolific in the studio. A multi-instrumentalist, his favorite instruments are: ukulele, sitar, psaltry, theremin, electric guitar, piano, mandolin, bass, and autoharp.

When ‘Sleep Inside Thunder’ appeared on Showtime’s TV show Shameless, it proved pivotal for Sea At Last, the band Fire Mist shares with artist and composer Tory Elena. After playing SXSW, touring England, pressing vinyl of ‘Atlas’ and generally have a great time playing internationally, Fire Mist returned focus towards his solo project and studio work.

Currently, Fire Mist is in preproduction on an ambitious international theatrical production for stage. To present the musical in the international waters is a longtime goal of the composer, as Japan is the place where he intends to debut the work. In the meantime, Fire Mist is producing artists and taking on recording projects in Ojai, California.
